Caroline Silva is a fourth-year student studying Public Relations at
the University of Georgia. Her minor is in Communication Studies.
Caroline is originally from Brazil and speaks Portuguese and English
fluently. She’s been living in the US since she was eight years old,
and can’t imagine calling any other place her home. Caroline is
involved in two organizations on campus. She is an active member of
PRSSA as part of the recruitment committee, where she helped PRSSA
become the largest chapter in the world by raising their membership by
6%. Caroline is also the treasurer of International Association of
Business Communicators, where she manages their funds.  This spring
semester Caroline is currently interning at St. Mary’s hospital under
their Marketing/Public Relations department. Caroline describes this
internship as one of the most rewarding parts of her UGA experience.
With this internship, she has learned so much in the last few weeks.
She has also been a boutique associate at Francesca’s for the last
three years. She loves the Francesca's brand and company

In the future, Caroline hopes to one-day work with a Christian
non-profit organization/church or for a hospital.
